Christopher Stephen Soden is a native Texan. His poetry collection, Closer, was released by Rebel Satori /Queermojo in June 2011. He received his MFA in Writing (Poetry) from Vermont College of Fine Arts in January 2005. He teaches and lectures on craft, theory, genre, literature and publication. He writes theatre critique for Examiner.com, PegasusNews.com, John Garcia’s The Column and A + C DFW.  He has written poetry, plays, performance pieces, literary, film and theatre critique. His honors include: Nominated for 2012 Pushcart Prize for his poem: “No mercy.” Residency at Yaddo Colony: Waiting List : 2012. Full Fellowship for Lambda Literary Retreat : Emerging LGBT Voices August 2010. Distinguished Poets of Dallas, Poetry Society of America’s Poetry in Motion Series, Founding Member, President and President Emeritus of The Dallas Poets Community.
